We don’t collect your personal data. Phrases, names, and settings stay on this phone. No account to create, and we don’t upload your content to our own servers.
What we do not collect
- No account, no registration, no sign-in.
- Everything you enter (phrases, the caregiver’s name, settings) is stored only on your device. It is never uploaded to any server — we have no servers.
- We add no analytics, tracking, or advertising SDKs, and your phrases and voice are never sent anywhere.
- Speech is produced by your device’s built-in system text-to-speech; the text never leaves the device.
- Auto-translation (turning a phrase you add into the caregiver’s language) runs on your device; your text is never sent out. iOS uses Apple’s built-in translation; Android uses Google’s on-device ML Kit, which downloads a language model on first use and sends Google a small amount of anonymous diagnostics (device model, processing time, language pair) — never your content, and not linked to your identity.
Translation feedback email
If you choose to email translation suggestions from the app, your device’s mail app sends the message to [email protected]. We only process what you voluntarily write. Templates do not pre-fill device identifiers or your full phrase library. Do not include names, medical record numbers, or other identifying health data. This channel is not an emergency service; reply times are not guaranteed.
Purchases (tips)
The in-app tip jar is handled by the Apple App Store or Google Play in-app purchase system. Payment is processed entirely by Apple or Google; we never see or receive your payment information or any personal data.
Backups
If you use Export backup, the file is shared via the system share sheet to a destination you choose. The process is entirely under your control and we never receive the file.
Children’s privacy
This app is suitable for all ages (rated 4+). Because we collect no data from anyone — including children — no children’s personal information is processed.
